About NGO:-‘Andhi’ is a grass root level non-government organization working for development of the poor and marginalized artisans of the Zari-Zardozi living in city slums and peripheral Guskar,Amethi and Lucknow,District of the Uttar Pradesh.Since its registration under society act 1860 the organization has steadily evolved as facilitating agency providing supportive intervention for the transformation of living conditions of the grass root level artisans development,SHG formation,women empowerment.The chief functionary of the organization Mrs. Nilam Singh Who herself is a commendable artisan in the craft of Zari-Zardozi having years of experience behind her ‘Andhi’ the organization has also dedicated itself towards training and employment generation of women folk of the area.
