About NGO:-Bankimnagar Women Development Society is an NGO (A Voluntry No Profit Non Government Organization)working for the welfare of Handicrafts artisans in Tripura.The NGO formed many groups of Artisans under Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana(AHVY) with the office of the development Commissioner(Handicrafts),Ministry of textiles,Govt of India.The NGO and official from Marketing and service Extension Center,Agrtala made them understand how they can produce improved quality of handicraft products and get better marketing facilities with various schemes under AHVY.
