About NGO:-Women Organisation For Socio-Cultural Awareness (WOSCA) is a voluntary organisation born on 20th December 1993 with the commitment to serve the mankind. It has been registered under the Society Registration Act of 1860 vide Registration No-kjr-2308-316-93/94. It has been registered under FCRA vide Registration no – 104770040. It has been working to promote sustainable livelihoods and socio-economic upliftment of the poor and depressed. The range of our programmes includes formation and strengthening community based organizations, livelihood augmentation through NRM, Strengthening local governance through PRI capacity building initiatives and advocacy, promotion of sustainable agriculture, Integrated Nutrition & Health Programmes, Handicraft promotion and development of rural artisans through skill up gradation programmes, Women’s empowerment through formation and promotion of Self Help Groups, Entrepreneurship building and vocational training to rural youths and women, revamping of culture for better living and other social activities.
